Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>The Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission is discussing on the role of scholars towards national consensus.<\/p>\n

The half-day research seminar is jointly organized by the Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission and Addis Ababa University (AAU).<\/p>\n

AAU Interim President, Samuel Kifle and Ethiopian National Dialogue Commissioner Yonas Adaye as well as from the academia are attending the seminar.<\/p>\n

The seminar will deliberate on various issues related to national dialogue including global experience besides the role if scholars towards national consensus.<\/p>\n

Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission was established by the House of People’s Representatives on the 29th of December 2021 with aim of resolving political differences and disagreements through a broad-based inclusive public dialogue that engenders national consensus.<\/p>\n

The Commission has now been carrying out various activities in collaboration with various stakeholders at federal and regional levels to make the national dialogue successful.<\/p>\n

It is also in the process of selecting participants and designing agendas from the grass roots.<\/p>\n

Selection of participants has also been underway in different parts of the country by exerting maximum efforts to include all stakeholders in the dialogue.<\/p>\n
