Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Tu\u0308rkiye and African Union (AU) have strengthened strategic partnership and the cooperation is in line with Agenda 2063, Tu\u0308rkiye Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the AU Berk Baran said.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Baran has handed over flags to the African Union donated by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TI\u0307KA) today.<\/p>\n

Director General of the African Union Commission, Fathallah Sijilmassi received the flags.<\/p>\n

During the occasion, Ambassador Baran said that the donation of flags demonstrates the strong partnership of Tu\u0308rkiye with the African Union.<\/p>\n

Tu\u0308rkiye and AU have strategic partnership since 2008, the Ambassador stated, and added that the partnership has strengthened over the years.<\/p>\n

Tu\u0308rkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdog\u0306an has made official visits to 31 African countries, Baran said, and noted \u201cit shows the strong interest to the continent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of the cooperation projects we determine with Africa are always defined in line with the Agenda 2063 of the AU,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n
