Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh visited the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ), which is one of Azerbaijan’s major economic programs.<\/p>\n

The Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) is Azerbaijan\u2019s first economic zone dedicated for export trade, import substitution and value added manufacturing products.<\/p>\n

The Deputy PM said that during the visit we have shared very important experiences from the Free Economic Zone, which is called the \u2018investment hub\u2019 of the region beyond Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy strengthening our relationship and adopting best practices, Ethiopia will exert efforts to achieve the country’s expectations in the sector,\u201d Temesgen added.<\/p>\n

A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen is in Azerbaijan for a working visit.<\/p>\n

The deputy PM had fruitful discussion with the Interior Minister of Azerbaijan, colonel-general Eyvazov Vilayat Suleyman.<\/p>\n

Temesgen visited the ASAN Service Center in Baku, Azerbaijan, where government services are provided digitally in a centralized manner.<\/p>\n

During the visit, Temesgen met with Ulvi Mehdiyev, the Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SAPSSI).<\/p>\n
