Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Former Manchester United midfielder, Gordon Strachan, has hit out at the club\u2019s forwards for \u2018trotting about\u2019 on the pitch of play.<\/p>\n

Strachan claimed the Red Devils\u2019 attack is similar to Paris Saint-Germain\u2019s former attacking triumvirate of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.<\/p>\n

Man United have boosted their attack by signing Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, adding to the likes of Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Bruno Fernandes.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Lord Ping (via GOAL), Strachan said: \u201cI look at the way teams like Brighton, Liverpool, [Manchester] City and Arsenal play without the ball, and their forwards are working tirelessly to press and harass the opponent. They are aggressive. They force the opposition into mistakes. Manchester United don\u2019t do that.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have not seen Manchester United\u2019s forward players doing that under Erik ten Hag and that worries me.<\/p>\n

\u201cPSG used to be like that with three world-class players in [Lionel] Messi, Neymar and Kylian] Mbappe just trotting about \u2013 that is why they never won the Champions League.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnited\u2019s front three remind me of them, and not in a good way.\u201d<\/p>\n
