Africa-Press<\/a> – Ethiopia<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>February 25\/2021(ENA) World Food Programme (WFP) Executive Director, David Beasley said important progress has been made in Ethiopia\u2019s Tigray region.<\/p>\n

The executive director made the remark on his twitter after his visit to the region today.<\/p>\n

He also said that 107 million USD is needed as soon as possible in a bid to scale-up WFP\u2019s operations in the region.<\/p>\n

Beasley wrote, \u201cI\u2019m back on the ground here in Ethiopia, talking with our team, getting updates and continuing to push to reach everyone in need in Tigray.
