Africa-Press<\/a> – Ethiopia<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>March 6\/2021 (ENA) New books authored by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in Amharic and Afan Oromo were inaugurated at a ceremony held at Unity Park today.<\/p>\n

The book \u2018Yemedemer Menged\u2019 ( the Medemer Road) discusses the reform measures being taken across the nation and the challenges it has been facing and successes registered.<\/p>\n

It also dwells with memories of the prime minister and the discourses he had with friends.<\/p>\n

The new book published in Amharic and Oromifa, is a follow up and additional explanation of the book \u2018MEDEMER\u2019, previously authored by the premier.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Abiy, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonen as well as other government officials and invited guests attended the inauguration ceremony.<\/p>\n

During the occasion, Addis Ababa University lecturer Bedilu Wakjira said the book provides independent analysis of the existing political, economic and social situations in the country.<\/p>\n

It also indicates ways on how the youth could fight against dictators.<\/p>\n

The proceeds from the sales of the new book will be used for the construction of schools in different parts of the country, it was learned.<\/p>\n

It is to be recalled that Abiy had donated over 110 million Birr from the proceeds of his previous book, MEDEMER.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
