Africa-Press – Ethiopia. <\/strong><\/span>Global Health Innovation and Quality Summit participants have commended the preservation of heritages and archeological artifacts of Ethiopia at the National Museum.<\/p>\n

The summit held in Addis Ababa for the last three days under the theme \u201cLeveraging Health Innovation towards Achieving Universal Health Coverage\u201d concluded today.<\/p>\n

It has attracted around 800 face-to-face attendees and more than 1,500 virtual participants. Of these some have visited different places in the country, including the National Museum.<\/p>\n

Summit Coordinator Abebaw Derso told ENA that the face-to-face attendees visited places like the National Palace, the Unity Park, and the National Museum.<\/p>\n

The main objective of bringing the participants to visit the museum is to enable them to know about their country and add value on their previous understandings, he added.<\/p>\n

According to him, the visit of the National Museum is very significant to further promote what the country has and know it.<\/p>\n

First time visitor Negash Seyoum said, \u201cI only think of Lucy when I look at this museum\u201d.<\/p>\n

Stating that he didn’t know that the museum is so well organized and so many archaeological findings are on display, he added, \u201cI had no idea how this was organized. So it is an opportunity for me to visit the place.\u201d<\/p>\n

Preserving the heritages and archaeological artifacts of the nation is imperative as it helps to becoming a tourist destination and also a knowledge hub for archaeology.<\/p>\n

Negash believes that Ethiopia is going to be like a laboratory for archaeology and organizing a modern museum in such a way will increase awareness, and further promote tourism.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Amer Abdulla emphasized that there are a lot of changes in organizing heritages and archaeological artifacts which is vital to teach generations.<\/p>\n
