Les choses vont pouvoir e\u0302tre faites sur le terrain apre\u0300s plusieurs anne\u0301es d\u2019essai solde\u0301es par des e\u0301checs. La phase d\u2019exploration du gisement de fer de Belinga a officiellement e\u0301te\u0301 lance\u0301e le week-end e\u0301coule\u0301 dans la province de l\u2019Ogooue\u0301-Ivindo. La ce\u0301re\u0301monie ayant re\u0301uni le vice-Premier ministre Alain-Claude Bilie-By-Nze, le ministre des Mines et d\u2019autres membres du gouvernement a eu lieu dimanche 16 octobre a\u0300 Makokou.<\/p>\n

\u00abCet e\u0301ve\u0301nement marque la concre\u0301tisation d\u2019un projet historique qui illustre l\u2019engagement du chef de l\u2019E\u0301tat pour la diversification de l\u2019e\u0301conomie, le de\u0301veloppement de la re\u0301gion et la cre\u0301ation d\u2019emplois\u00bb, indique-t-on au Conseil national de coordination et de suivi du Plan d\u2019acce\u0301le\u0301ration de la transformation (PAT).<\/p>\n

Organise\u0301e en pre\u0301sence de plusieurs notables du chef-lieu de l\u2019Ogooue\u0301-Ivindo, cette ce\u0301re\u0301monie de lancement officiel de l\u2019activite\u0301 d\u2019exploration fait suite a\u0300 la signature de la convention de recherche effectue\u0301e entre Fortescue Metals Group et son partenaire Africa Transformation and Industrialization Fund et l\u2019E\u0301tat gabonais repre\u0301sente\u0301 par la ministre de l\u2019E\u0301conomie et son colle\u0300gue des Mines, le 19 aou\u0302t 2022. Cette phase d\u2019exploration devrait durer 3 ans, selon les pre\u0301visions de l\u2019entreprise minie\u0300re australienne. Celle-ci devrait lui cou\u0302ter 59,4 milliards de FCFA. Il s\u2019agira, dans un premier temps, d\u2019effectuer une e\u0301tude de faisabilite\u0301 et une e\u0301valuation des solutions logistiques ne\u0301cessaires a\u0300 la conduite du projet.<\/p>\n
