Africa-Press – Gabon. <\/strong><\/span>E\u0301tant parvenu, en 2021, a\u0300 faire annuler la condamnation de la Cour internationale d\u2019arbitrage de 2018, devant la Cour de cassation de Paris, l\u2019E\u0301tat gabonais devra a\u0300 nouveau croiser le fer avec les socie\u0301te\u0301s Webcor ITP et GML dans l\u2019affaire dite du Grand marche\u0301 de Libreville, un projet qui n\u2019a pas vu le jour 10 ans apre\u0300s les conventions passe\u0301es avec la mairie de Libreville.<\/p>\n

Webcor ITP et GML n\u2019ont pas encore dige\u0301re\u0301 le verdict rendu par la Cour d\u2019appel de Paris, en 2021. Les deux socie\u0301te\u0301s, qui avaient par ailleurs e\u0301te\u0301 condamne\u0301es a\u0300 verser a\u0300 l\u2019E\u0301tat gabonais la somme de 50 000 euros, soit plus de 32,7 millions de FCFA dans l\u2019affaire lie\u0301e au projet de construction avorte\u0301 du Grand marche\u0301 de Libreville, se sont pourvues en cassation. L\u2019information a e\u0301te\u0301 livre\u0301e ce vendredi 27 janvier par Africa Intelligence.<\/p>\n

L\u2019initiative des deux socie\u0301te\u0301s est donc de casser le verdict ayant donne\u0301 vainqueur le Gabon pre\u0300s de deux ans plus to\u0302t, pour espe\u0301rer revenir a\u0300 celui prononce\u0301 en leur faveur, en 2018. Cette anne\u0301e-la\u0300, la Cour internationale d\u2019arbitrage, juridiction de la Cour commerciale internationale, avait en effet condamne\u0301 l\u2019E\u0301tat gabonais a\u0300 payer un total de 92 millions d\u2019euros (pre\u0300s de 70 milliards de FCFA) en re\u0301paration des pertes cause\u0301es par la re\u0301siliation unilate\u0301rale des trois conventions passe\u0301es de\u0300s juin 2012 avec l\u2019Ho\u0302tel de Ville de Libreville dans le cadre du projet de construction du grand marche\u0301 de la Peyrie.<\/p>\n

A\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301poque, le projet avait e\u0301te\u0301 pilote\u0301 par celui qui e\u0301tait alors le maire de la capitale gabonaise, Jean-Franc\u0327ois Ntoutoume Emane. Passe\u0301 a\u0300 l\u2019opposition depuis, l\u2019ancien e\u0301dile n\u2019a jamais e\u0301te\u0301 inquie\u0301te\u0301 quant a\u0300 l\u2019affaire.<\/p>\n
