Le patron de la diplomatie camerounaise e\u0301tait porteur d\u2019un message du pre\u0301sident Paul Biya, notamment apre\u0300s la participation du Premier ministre de ce pays voisin au One Forest Summit, le 2 mars dernier. Selon des sources du palais du bord de mer, Ali Bongo Ondimba est invite\u0301 au prochain sommet ordinaire de la Cemac, pre\u0301vu dans 10 jours a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301.<\/p>\n

Alors que le Premier ministre camerounais, Joseph Dion Ngute\u0301 a pris part, le 2 mars dernier dans la capitale gabonaise, au One Forest Summit, moins de cinq jours plus tard, le ministre camerounais des Relations exte\u0301rieures est a\u0300 Libreville. Lejeune Mbella Mbella, porteur d\u2019un message du pre\u0301sident Paul Biya, a e\u0301te\u0301 rec\u0327u, le 6 mars par le chef de l\u2019E\u0301tat gabonais, Ali Bongo Ondimba. Au centre des e\u0301changes, la participation du Gabon, au haut niveau, au prochain sommet de la Communaute\u0301 e\u0301conomique et mone\u0301taire de l\u2019Afrique centrale (Cemac).<\/p>\n

Le sommet ordinaire des chefs d\u2019Etat de la Cemac aura lieu, en effet, le 17 mars 2023 a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301, au Cameroun. L\u2019e\u0301missaire de Paul Biya est donc alle\u0301 inviter officiellement le chef de l\u2019E\u0301tat gabonais, mais aussi pour deviser avec ce dernier sur les questions d\u2019inte\u0301re\u0302t commun. Une opportunite\u0301 toute trouve\u0301e pour lui adresser \u00ables vives et chaleureuses fe\u0301licitations\u00bb de son homologue camerounais, relatives a\u0300 l\u2019organisation re\u0301ussie, a\u0300 Libreville, du One Forest Summit.<\/p>\n

Mais en plus, il a salue\u0301, au nom de locataire du palais d\u2019Etoudi, la vision et le leadership d\u2019Ali Bongo sur les questions de protection, de pre\u0301servation des e\u0301cosyste\u0300mes et de la biodiversite\u0301. Ce, d\u2019autant plus que le Gabon porte haut le plaidoyer de l\u2019Afrique sur ces proble\u0301matiques. Toute chose ayant permis a\u0300 Lejeune Mbella Mbella de rappeler la parfaite convergence de vues entre les deux chefs d\u2019Etat sur les questions bilate\u0301rales, re\u0301gionale, continentale et internationale, et sur les sujets d\u2019inte\u0301re\u0302t commun.<\/p>\n

Le pre\u0301sident camerounais est pre\u0301sident en exercice de la Cemac. Le dernier sommet des chefs d\u2019E\u0301tat s\u2019est tenu a\u0300 Yaounde\u0301 le 22 novembre 2019 au Palais de l\u2019Unite\u0301. Il s\u2019agissait d\u2019un sommet extraordinaire.Mais en de\u0301cembre dernier, il devrait avoir une autre rencontre de haut niveau, reporte\u0301, explique-t-on, pour des \u00abraisons de calendrier\u00bb, notamment la participation des chefs d\u2019E\u0301tat a\u0300 Washington au deuxie\u0300me sommet Afrique-E\u0301tats-Unis.<\/p>\n

Pour ces Assises sous re\u0301gionales, les dirigeants de la Cemac devraient plancher certainement sur les proble\u0300mes de la libre circulation qui peine a\u0300 se concre\u0301tiser, mais e\u0301galement sur la monnaie communautaire et l\u2019e\u0301lection du nouveau pre\u0301sident de la Commission.<\/p>\n
