Les pays africains font partie de ceux qui espe\u0300rent augmenter leurs exportations de gaz vers l\u2019Union europe\u0301enne, apre\u0300s que celle-ci se soit engage\u0301e a\u0300 re\u0301duire sa de\u0301pendance a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301gard des approvisionnements russes a\u0300 la suite de l\u2019invasion de l\u2019Ukraine. Bien que les exportations combine\u0301es des grands acteurs africains du secteur repre\u0301sentent moins de la moitie\u0301 de ce que la Russie fournit a\u0300 l\u2019Europe, le rapport Africa Outlook 2023 de l\u2019Economist Intelligence Unit intitule\u0301 \u00ab les de\u0301fis a\u0300 venir \u00bb, pre\u0301voit des perspectives a\u0300 la demande des fournisseurs d\u2019e\u0301nergie africains et une source potentielle de nouveaux investissements pour de futurs projets sur le continent.<\/p>\n

\u00abDans le secteur de l\u2019e\u0301nergie, la de\u0301cision des pays europe\u0301ens de remplacer le pe\u0301trole et le gaz russes par des approvisionnements alternatifs stimulera a\u0300 court et moyen terme la demande des fournisseurs d\u2019e\u0301nergie africains et constituera une source potentielle de nouveaux investissements pour de futurs projets dans des pays tels que l\u2019Afrique. Nigeria, Angola, Gabon, Libye, Alge\u0301rie, E\u0301gypte, Congo-Brazzaville, Ghana, Guine\u0301e e\u0301quatoriale et Tchad\u00bb, souligne le rapport.<\/p>\n

Une bonne nouvelle pour le Gabon qui de\u0301tient deux milliards de barils de re\u0301serves prouve\u0301es de pe\u0301trole et 1,2 trillion de pieds cubes de gaz naturel. Ces ressources pourront participer au titre d\u2019alternatif a\u0300 court et moyen terme pour substituer le pe\u0301trole et le gaz russes a\u0300 la demande europe\u0301enne. Toutefois, cela prendra du temps en raison de divers proble\u0300mes logistiques chez les principaux exportateurs du pays.<\/p>\n
