Africa-Press – Gabon. <\/strong><\/span>En pre\u0301lude a\u0300 la Journe\u0301e mondiale de l\u2019enfance, l\u2019Unicef a organise\u0301 le 18 novembre au Gabon des activite\u0301s autour du changement climatique avec une centaine d\u2019enfants. L\u2019objectif e\u0301tait de les sensibiliser et de re\u0301colter leurs ide\u0301es sur cette proble\u0301matique qui impacte leur vie.<\/p>\n

Au Gabon, en pre\u0301lude a\u0300 la Journe\u0301e mondiale de l\u2019enfance, ce\u0301le\u0301bre\u0301e a\u0300 travers le monde le 20 novembre de chaque anne\u0301e, le Fonds des Nations unies pour l\u2019enfance (Unicef) a organise\u0301, le 18 novembre 2023, des activite\u0301s sur le changement climatique. Sous le the\u0300me : \u00ab climat et inclusion \u00bb, la journe\u0301e de\u0301die\u0301e a permis a\u0300 une centaine d\u2019enfants venus de diffe\u0301rents horizons du pays de donner leurs ide\u0301es sur la question climatique. L\u2019objectif e\u0301tant d\u2019appeler les adultes a\u0300 ba\u0302tir un avenir meilleur.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Ce que nous avons fait c\u2019est voir comment ces enfants peuvent donner leurs ide\u0301es par rapport a\u0300 la question climatique, parce que la journe\u0301e mondiale des enfants a le focus sur le climat et l\u2019impact du changement climatique sur les enfants. Nous avons accompagne\u0301 ces enfants dans le cadre naturel ou\u0300 nous avons donne\u0301 l\u2019expe\u0301rience aux enfants de voir le processus de production agricole depuis le de\u0301but jusqu\u2019a\u0300 la fin \u00bb, a de\u0301clare\u0301 la repre\u0301sentante par inte\u0301rim de l\u2019Unicef.<\/p>\n

Selon Mame Selbee Diouf, les enfants doivent s\u2019inte\u0301resser au climat, le changement climatique e\u0301tant une question fondamentale pour leur ge\u0301ne\u0301ration. Il impacte leur existence, car dans certaines villes du pays, \u00ab a\u0300 cause des conse\u0301quences des inondations, l\u2019e\u0301cole est ferme\u0301e et beaucoup d\u2019enfants se retrouvent sans pouvoir aller a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301cole des semaines. Donc c\u2019est la question de la re\u0301silience. La re\u0301silience pour le syste\u0300me e\u0301ducatif, pour ce qui concerne la sante\u0301 de l\u2019enfant. Quand on pense au climat et a\u0300 son impact ne\u0301gatif, c\u0327a affecte les enfants dans leur cycle de vie \u00bb, a-t-elle explique\u0301<\/p>\n

Apre\u0300s la sortie verte dans la matine\u0301e lors de laquelle les enfants ont touche\u0301 la terre, la journe\u0301e s\u2019est poursuivie dans l\u2019apre\u0300s-midi a\u0300 l\u2019auditorium du ministe\u0300re des Eaux et Fore\u0302ts avec des ateliers the\u0301matiques et ludiques au tour du climat. A l\u2019issue de cette journe\u0301e, les enfants ont e\u0301labore\u0301 un petit manifeste mettant en exergue leurs priorite\u0301s concernant leurs attentes des gouvernants sur l\u2019impact du changement climatique sur leur vie.<\/p>\n

Le manifeste sera pre\u0301sente\u0301 le 20 novembre prochain a\u0300 des chefs d\u2019entreprises. \u00ab Nous aurons une petite ce\u0301re\u0301monie avec une dizaine de chefs d\u2019entreprises et les enfants auront une interaction avec ces chefs d\u2019entreprises. Mais, le plus important c\u2019est de partager le manifeste qu\u2019ils ont de\u0301veloppe\u0301 aujourd\u2019hui sur les diffe\u0301rentes attentes qu\u2019ils ont de nos gouvernants et de tous les partenaires par rapport a\u0300 la fac\u0327on dont le changement climatique souvent a un impact ne\u0301gatif sur leur vie , leur de\u0301veloppement et leur sante\u0301 \u00bb, a souligne\u0301 la repre\u0301sentante de l\u2019Unicef.<\/p>\n
