Africa-Press – Gabon. <\/strong><\/span>En visite au Gabon dans le but d\u2019e\u0301changer avec les nouvelles autorite\u0301s en vue de rechercher des me\u0301canismes pour stabiliser le marche\u0301 du pe\u0301trole, le Secre\u0301taire ge\u0301ne\u0301ral de l\u2019Organisation des pays exportateurs du pe\u0301trole (Opep), Haitham Al Ghais, a devise\u0301 le 22 janvier avec le Premier ministre de la Transition, Raymond Ndong Sima. Plusieurs centres d\u2019inte\u0301re\u0302t commun ont e\u0301te\u0301 e\u0301voque\u0301s en plus de la consolidation bilate\u0301rale entre cette organisation et le Gabon.<\/p>\n

Depuis le de\u0301but de cette anne\u0301e 2024, le Gabon, a\u0300 travers son ministe\u0300re du Pe\u0301trole, pre\u0301side l\u2019Organisation des pays exportateurs de pe\u0301trole (Opep). Dans ce cadre, le Secre\u0301taire ge\u0301ne\u0301ral de cette structure, Haitham Al Ghais, se\u0301journe depuis 48 heures a\u0300 Libreville. Parmi les personnalite\u0301s rencontre\u0301es figure le Premier ministre de la Transition, Raymond Ndong Sima, apre\u0300s l\u2019audience avec le pre\u0301sident de la Transition, le Ge\u0301ne\u0301ral Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.<\/p>\n

A\u0300 la Primature, l\u2019entretien entre les deux personnalite\u0301s a porte\u0301 sur la coope\u0301ration entre l\u2019Open et le Gabon notamment dans la mesure ou\u0300 le pays d\u2019Oligui Nguema a besoin de la stabilisation du marche\u0301 pe\u0301trolier, au niveau international, pour re\u0301pondre a\u0300 ses pre\u0301visions budge\u0301taires contenues dans la loi de finances 2024. La grande partie des recettes budge\u0301taires provenant, en effet, du pe\u0301trole.<\/p>\n

A\u0300 l\u2019Immeuble du 2-De\u0301cembre, on indique que le Gabon qui fait office de \u00abbon e\u0301le\u0300ve\u00bb dans ce regroupement des pays exportateurs du pe\u0301trole saura compter sur Haitham Al Ghais pour un partenariat gagnant-gagnant. Pour ce faire, le Gabon a re\u0301affirme\u0301 son engagement envers l\u2019Opep, a\u0300 travailler avec les autres membres de l\u2019organisation dans le but d\u2019atteindre les objectifs notamment le maintien de la stabilite\u0301 du marche\u0301 pe\u0301trolier dans le monde entier et en retour, le Secre\u0301taire ge\u0301ne\u0301ral a renouvele\u0301 l\u2019entie\u0300re disponibilite\u0301 de l\u2019organisation faire pe\u0301renniser cette collaboration qui va contribuer a\u0300 promouvoir l\u2019industrie de l\u2019or noir.<\/p>\n

Ceci d\u2019autant plus que \u00able Gabon a un potentiel dans le de\u0301veloppement de son secteur pe\u0301trolier\u00bb, a indique\u0301 Haitham Al Ghais. Raymond Ndong Sima, pour sa part, a rappele\u0301 le bien-fonde\u0301 de cette pe\u0301riode de transition, ne\u0301cessaire pour asseoir de ve\u0301ritables re\u0301formes, y compris celles touchant le domaine pe\u0301trolier.<\/p>\n

Cette rencontre survient a\u0300 un moment ou\u0300 les marche\u0301s pe\u0301troliers mondiaux se portent bien, be\u0301ne\u0301ficiant de la stabilite\u0301 des prix du baril. Le Gabon a adhe\u0301re\u0301 a\u0300 l\u2019Opep en 1975, 15 ans apre\u0300s sa cre\u0301ation en 1960, a\u0300 Vienne, en Autriche. En retrait depuis 1996, le Gabon a re\u0301inte\u0301gre\u0301 l\u2019organisation le 1er juillet 2016, marquant ainsi une e\u0301tape significative dans son engagement envers la coope\u0301ration internationale dans le secteur pe\u0301trolier.<\/p>\n
