Au c\u0153ur de cette visite, le partage d\u2019informations et de compe\u0301tences avec les pays membres souhaitant s\u2019inspirer du mode\u0300le gabonais en vue de de\u0301velopper des zones e\u0301conomiques.<\/p>\n

Pre\u0301sente au Gabon dans le cadre de l\u2019organisation d\u2019un conseil des investisseurs du Commonweath, une de\u0301le\u0301gation du Commonweath Entreprise a visite\u0301 le 23 avril 2024 la Zone d\u2019investissement spe\u0301ciale (ZIS) de Nkok. Cette entite\u0301 regroupant des ope\u0301rateurs e\u0301conomiques, d\u2019hommes d\u2019affaires et investisseurs, e\u0301tait conduite par son vice-pre\u0301sident du Conseil des investissements du Commonweath, Lord Hugo Swire.<\/p>\n

Cette de\u0301le\u0301gation e\u0301tait inte\u0301resse\u0301e a\u0300 la ZIS de Nkok, particulie\u0300rement pour les diffe\u0301rentes possibilite\u0301s de collaboration dans le domaine de la transformation du bois et de la diversification des secteurs d\u2019activite\u0301s, mais surtout dans le partage d\u2019informations et de compe\u0301tences avec les pays membres qui souhaitent s\u2019inspirer du mode\u0300le gabonais, en vue de de\u0301velopper des zones e\u0301conomiques. C\u2019est dans ce cadre que l\u2019administrateur ge\u0301ne\u0301ral de l\u2019Autorite\u0301 administrative de la zone, Serge Samy Biveghe a pre\u0301sente\u0301 globalement la ZIS. Cette dernie\u0300re est le po\u0302le d\u2019excellence d\u2019industrialisation de la filie\u0300re bois au Gabon, et de diversification de l\u2019e\u0301conomie nationale a\u0300 travers plusieurs niveaux de transformation et de secteurs d\u2019activite\u0301s industriels.<\/p>\n

Cette visite a permis a\u0300 la de\u0301le\u0301gation d\u2019appre\u0301cier la socie\u0301te\u0301 Tropical Forest Products, spe\u0301cialise\u0301e dans la fabrication des panneaux de particules de bois a\u0300 partir des de\u0301chets de la grume. Ces panneaux sont utilise\u0301s dans les domaines de la construction et de l\u2019ameublement, notamment en produits finis tels que les dalles de planches, les parois, le mobilier de cuisine, de bureau et de salle de bain, etc.<\/p>\n

Le Commonweath Entreprise est une organisation a\u0300 but non lucratif mandate\u0301e par les chefs du gouvernement du Commonwealth pour promouvoir le commerce intra-Commonwealth, l\u2019investissement et le ro\u0302le du secteur prive\u0301 dans les 56 pays membres. Le Gabon est membre du Commonwheath depuis le 27 juin 2022. Suspendu a\u0300 la suite du coup de libe\u0301ration du 30 aou\u0302t dernier, mais le pays est sur le point de re\u0301inte\u0301grer cette organisation.<\/p>\n
