\u00c0 cette grand-messe de l\u2019environnement, le pr\u00e9sident gabonais Ali Bongo Ondimba est annonc\u00e9 pour cette rencontre portant sur le th\u00e8me \u00abStockholm+50 : une plan\u00e8te saine pour la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 de toutes et de tous, notre responsabilit\u00e9, notre chance\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Comm\u00e9morant la Conf\u00e9rence des Nations unies sur l\u2019environnement humain de 1972 et c\u00e9l\u00e9brant les 50 ans d\u2019action environnementale mondiale, le sommet Stockholm+50 se d\u00e9roulera les 2 et 3 juin 2022 \u00e0 Stockholm, en Su\u00e8de. La communication pr\u00e9sidentielle annonce ce 31 mai que le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat gabonais participera \u00e0 ce sommet plac\u00e9 sous th\u00e8me : \u00abStockholm+50 : une plan\u00e8te saine pour la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 de toutes et de tous, notre responsabilit\u00e9, notre chance\u00bb.<\/p>\n

En reconnaissant l\u2019importance du multilat\u00e9ralisme pour la lutte contre la crise relative au climat, \u00e0 la nature et \u00e0 la pollution, les organisateurs font savoir que l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement vise \u00e0 servir de tremplin pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la mise en \u0153uvre de la D\u00e9cennie d\u2019action des Nations unies en vue d\u2019atteindre les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable, y compris le programme de d\u00e9veloppement durable \u00e0 l\u2019horizon 2030, l\u2019accord de Paris sur les changements climatiques, le cadre mondial de la biodiversit\u00e9 pour l\u2019apr\u00e8s-2020, et \u00e0 encourager l\u2019adoption de plans de redressement \u00e9cologiques \u00e0 la suite du Covid-19.<\/p>\n

Ali Bongo Ondimba effectuera donc un d\u00e9placement de 48 heures en Su\u00e8de o\u00f9 il prendra part \u00e0 cette Conf\u00e9rence co-pr\u00e9sid\u00e9e par la Su\u00e8de et le Kenya. La rencontre enregistrera la participation de nombreux invit\u00e9s de marque parmi lesquels des chefs d\u2019\u00c9tat et de gouvernement, des membres et responsables des organisations non-gouvernementales (ONG), ainsi que les repr\u00e9sentants des Communaut\u00e9s des pays impact\u00e9s par les changements climatiques.<\/p>\n

\u00abIl est temps de faire des choix audacieux. Il est temps d\u2019agir de toute urgence. Il est temps de construire un avenir meilleur sur une plan\u00e8te saine\u00bb, souhaitent les organisateurs.<\/p>\n

Selon la communication pr\u00e9sidentielle, ce rendez-vous sera l\u2019occasion pour le pr\u00e9sident Ali Bongo Ondimba de r\u00e9affirmer l\u2019engagement du Gabon en mati\u00e8re de protection de l\u2019Environnement et de gestion durable des ressources naturelles d\u2019une part, et d\u2019autre part, de partager l\u2019ambition de son pays en faveur d\u2019un monde plus vert, plus durable et plus \u00e9quitable, au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice du bien-\u00eatre des populations et de la sauvegarde de la plan\u00e8te.<\/p>\n
