Ryu Chang Soo, une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation de chercheurs sud-cor\u00e9ens est all\u00e9e pr\u00e9senter mercredi aux autorit\u00e9s rectorales sa strat\u00e9gie en mati\u00e8re de lutte contre la d\u00e9forestation et le r\u00e9chauffement climatique qui pourrait faire l\u2019objet d\u2019une formation sp\u00e9cifique au d\u00e9partement de G\u00e9ographie de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Omar Bongo (UOB).<\/p>\n

L\u2019ambassadeur Ryu Chang Soo en est convaincu, \u00abil s\u2019agit de questions tr\u00e8s importantes pour nos deux pays, et l\u2019expertise cor\u00e9enne en la mati\u00e8re n\u2019est plus \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer\u00bb. Aussi, la Cor\u00e9e du Sud souhaite-t-elle mettre cette expertise \u00e0 la disposition du Gabon, et particuli\u00e8rement au profit de ses \u00e9tudiants.<\/p>\n

Pour ce faire, le 6 juillet, une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation de chercheurs cor\u00e9ens est all\u00e9e pr\u00e9senter aux autorit\u00e9s rectorales de l\u2019UOB sa strat\u00e9gie en mati\u00e8re de lutte contre la d\u00e9forestation et le r\u00e9chauffement climatique. Les diff\u00e9rentes pr\u00e9sentations faites par les membres de cette d\u00e9l\u00e9gation ont sembl\u00e9 convaincre le Pr Mesmin-No\u00ebl Soumaho, qui envisage une nouvelle collaboration avec la R\u00e9publique cor\u00e9enne au sein de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement dont il a la charge.<\/p>\n

\u00abIl s\u2019agit l\u00e0 d\u2019un mod\u00e8le qui peut \u00e9norm\u00e9ment inspirer la politique gabonaise. Au niveau de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Omar Bongo, nous avons un d\u00e9partement de G\u00e9ographie qui d\u2019ailleurs a chang\u00e9 de d\u00e9nomination pour s\u2019arrimer aux nouvelles r\u00e9alit\u00e9s. Il y a donc de fortes chances que nous fassions appel \u00e0 ces comp\u00e9tences pour des formations qui puissent prendre en compte non seulement la question foresti\u00e8re, mais \u00e9galement celle relative au d\u00e9r\u00e8glement climatique\u00bb, a confi\u00e9 le recteur de l\u2019UOB.<\/p>\n
