Africa-Press – Gabon. <\/strong><\/span>La saga de l\u2019affaire dite des biens mal acquis d\u00e9clench\u00e9e apr\u00e8s une plainte de l\u2019ONG Transparency International France en 2007 se poursuit avec la mise en examen entre juin et juillet 2022, de cinq enfants du pr\u00e9sident gabonais Omar Bongo Ondimba pour recel de d\u00e9tournement de fonds publics, de corruption active et passive, de blanchiment et d\u2019abus de biens sociaux.<\/p>\n

Selon une source judiciaire obtenue par nos confr\u00e8res de l\u2019Agence France presse (AFP) le 29 juillet, cinq des 54 enfants d\u2019Omar Bongo Ondimba \u00e0 savoir : Pascaline Bongo, 66 ans, fille a\u00een\u00e9e et ex-directrice de cabinet de son p\u00e8re, Omar Denis Jr Bongo, 28 ans, \u00e9galement petit-fils du pr\u00e9sident congolais Denis Sassou Nguesso, Jeanne Matoua, 38 ans, et Joseph Matoua, 40 ans, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en examen en France, pour recel de d\u00e9tournement de fonds publics, de corruption active et passive, de blanchiment et d\u2019abus de biens sociaux.<\/p>\n

Comme pour l\u2019ancienne reine de la beaut\u00e9 franco-rwandaise, Sonia Rolland, et quatre autres enfants de l\u2019ancien pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique gabonaise, Gr\u00e2ce, Betty, Arthur puis Hermine, respectivement \u00e2g\u00e9s de 58 ans, 55 ans, 51 ans et 53 ans, mis en examen entre mars et juin dernier, la justice fran\u00e7aise soup\u00e7onne ces derniers d\u2019avoir \u00absciemment\u00bb b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d\u2019un important patrimoine immobilier \u00abfrauduleusement\u00bb acquis en France par le patriarche, pr\u00e9sident du Gabon de 1967 \u00e0 sa mort en 2009.<\/p>\n

Remont\u00e9e contre cette d\u00e9cision, l\u2019avocate de Pascaline Bongo, Me Corinne Dreyfus-Schmidt, estime qu\u2019il y a l\u00e0 \u00abun anachronisme tant juridique que factuel\u00bb. Avocat d\u2019Omar Denis Jr Bongo, Me Jean-Marie Viala conteste quant \u00e0 lui la mise en examen de son client \u00absur la base du droit\u00bb, et \u00abnon de la morale\u00bb. La valeur de ces biens r\u00e9cemment \u00e9valu\u00e9e par la justice fran\u00e7aise est estim\u00e9e \u00ab\u00e0 au moins 85 millions d\u2019euros\u00bb.<\/p>\n
