Africa-Press – Gambia. The plan is aimed at encouraging young people to join the memorization sessions of the Holy Quran and to use their time and talents, said Abdul Hamid Al-Dosari, head of Tarahum Charity.
Uganda, Benin, Somalia, Gambia, Sudan, Mauritania, Yemen, Syria, India, and Bangladesh are the ten countries, according to Al-Dosari.
The courses also seek to develop students’ skills in using the Arabic language, provide students with a set of Islamic laws and culture, and introduce biographies of the Prophet’s companions and Muslim scholars, he said, Al-Anba reported.
He also appreciated the philanthropists for their support for such distinguished projects and initiatives.
