Africa-Press – Gambia. Gambia female international player, Fatou Kanteh has signed for Spanish female topflight club Villarreal FC. The 25-year-old Scorpions international penned a two-year contract with the Yellow-Submarine.
Fatou who can play both in the midfield and strike was born in Spain to a Gambian parents. Kanteh previously played for UE Porqueres, EdF Logroño and Sporting Huelva in Spain. She was called up by Gambia for the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations qualification (second round) on 9 February 2022.
