They showed appreciation for the state funeral accorded to the late Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara, who was a founding father of the party. We also discussed his legacy, which should continue to inspire us especially in our efforts to strengthen our new found democracy.
I used the opportunity to thank the PPP Executive for expressing their continuing commitment to support the five-year development agenda of my government.
