Africa-Press – Gambia. Delegates at the National People’s Party (NPP) congress have reportedly rejected a resolution that would allow the party leader to appoint a Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the party, according to Kerr Fatou News
The delegates unanimously rejected the resolution that gives power to the Secretary-General and Party Leader to appoint the PRO. We all agreed on the position to be an elective one,” anonymous source told Kerr Fatou.
The delegates to the National People’s Party (NPP) were in the process of electing their first-ever executive body since the party’s inception in 2019.
