Africa-Press – Gambia. Gunjur’s misery has continued in the 2022-2023 Approve Services (APS) sponsored Kombo South District (KSD) football tournament after losing to Tanji 3-1 in their second group match played at the Jambanjelly Football Field on Friday.
The Gunjur boys came into the match without a point after losing to Jambanjelly 2-0 in their opening group match.
Coach Modou Manneh and his charges needed a victory against Tanji to recuperate in the annual Kombo South District biggest football fiesta but slipped to the Tanji boys 3-1.
Gunjur must beat Berending and Daya in their next group matches to avoid elimination from the 2022-2023 Approve Services (APS) sponsored Kombo South District football tournament.
The win earned Tanji 3 points after one group match.
Gunjur remained rock-bottom in their group with zero point in two group outings.
