Africa-Press – Gambia. The Gambia Armed Forces personnel was expected to receive the body of the late Gambian vice president at the Banjul International Airport last evening.
The body was subsequently escorted to the mortuary of the country’s main referral hospital in Banjul.
Meanwhile, preparations were underway for the laying-in-state of the late VP’s body at the National Assembly on Monday.
