Africa-Press – Gambia. Egypt’s Al Ahly won the tenth edition of the African Clubs League in football, after a draw (1-1), last Sunday night, in Casablanca (Morocco), against the local Wydad, in a second leg challenge ” from the end.
The goals of the match were scored by Yahia Attyat, in the 27th minute, for the hosts, while Mohamed Monem equalized (78′) for the visitors.
In the first “leg” match, played on June 4, in Egyptian territory, the new continental champions won, by 2-1.
Wydad is the dethroned champion.
