Africa-Press – Gambia. A one-day players scouting tournament on Tuesday1st August 2023 wrapped up in Gunjur, Kombo South District.
The tournament, which was held at the Gunjur Upper Basic School Football Field, brought together four teams namely Gunjur United Football Club, Jattas Football Academy, Gunjur United Football Academy and Gunjur zonal team.
Jattas Football Academy drew goalless with Gunjur United Football Academy at 3pm match.
Gunjur zonal team defeated Gunjur United Football Club 1-0 at 5pm kick-off.
Prolific striker Mafugu Demba was on the score sheet for Gunjur zonal team during the match.
The players scouting tournament attracted spectators from Gunjur and its environs.
