Africa-Press – Gambia. The Gambia Women’s National Team Tuesday 26th September 2023 returned home from Morocco, after their exit from the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Women’s Scorpions slipped to Namibia 5-2 on aggregate in their qualifier matches played in Morocco.
Coach Yahya Manneh and his charges will now hang their boots until next qualifiers following their elimination from the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers.
It could be recalled that The Gambia Women’s National Team failed to secure qualification to the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations after losing to Cameroon in their qualifier matches.
