Atlantic Hotel, one of Libyan investments in Gambia opened after maintenance

Africa-Press – Gambia. Presidential Council member Musa Al-Koni opened on Saturday, the Atlantic Hotel in the Gambian capital, Banjul, after it entered a complete maintenance phase.

The opening of the hotel was attended by the Gambian Ministers of Tourism, Economy and Investment, the Mayor of Banjul Municipality, and the President of the Union of Turkish Investors in Africa, according to the Presidential Council Facebook page.

The hotel, which is located on the Atlantic Ocean, is one of the Libyan state’s investment projects abroad and contributed to hosting delegations participating in the Organization of the Islamic Conference summit in Gambia.

The Presidential Council statement added that the hotel will be operated in partnership with an international Turkish company specialized in operating major hotels in the world.
