Africa-Press – Gambia. Prof. Pierre Gomez, Minister of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology (MoHERST), has announced that his ministry will be presenting three bills this session.
“The Ministry will be tabling three bills this session: Student Revolving Loan Scheme, Tertiary and Higher Education Trust Fund, and National Research and Innovation Fund,” Minister Gomez said during a press conference.
The minister also revealed that his Ministry has recently launched the Skills, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Fund, which aims to support institutions, students, and start-ups in their development efforts through resource and technical assistance.
“The Ministry has also developed a National Research Policy,” the minister said.
