Africa-Press – Gambia. Sanyang and Lamin have sailed to the semi-finals of the 2025\2026 West Coast Region zonal tournament.
The duo advanced to the last four of the West Coast Region zonal football tournament after defeating Brufut and Foni in their quarter-finals matches played on Saturday.
Sanyang beat Brufut 3-2 on post-match penalty shootouts after regular time ended goalless in their last eight match played at the Brufut Straster Football Field to navigate to the semi-finals of the West Coast Region zonal football tournament.
Lamin defeated Foni 4-2 on post-match penalty shootouts after normal time ended 2-2 in their last match played at the Late Sanna Jatta Memorial Football Field to cruise to the semi-finals of the West Coast Region football tournament.
Brufut and Sanyang will hang their boots until next years following their exit from the West Coast Region zonal football tournament.
