Africa-Press – Gambia. The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has announced the promotion of Mr. Ebrima Nyassi, popularly known as Alagie, to the position of Deputy Technical Director.
According to a statement issued by the Federation, the promotion reflects Nyassi’s dedication and contribution to the development of football in The Gambia over the past decade.
The GFF said that before his appointment, Nyassi served as Youth Football Manager, a position he held since 2021. He joined the Federation in 2014 as Grassroots Football Coordinator, where he contributed to the establishment of several youth development programmes across the country.
“Mr. Nyassi brings a wealth of academic and technical expertise to his new role,” the GFF stated.
The Federation noted that Nyassi holds an Advanced Diploma in Management and Policy Analysis from the Management Development Institute (MDI). He also holds a CAF B Licence and is a certified CAF coach educator.
The GFF congratulated Nyassi on his promotion and wished him success in his new role.
