Africa-Press – Gambia. Matchday three of the 2026 National Volleyball League, organised by the Gambia Volleyball Federation, featured dominant performances and a closely contested five-set encounter in both the male and female categories.
In the female division, Brikama maintained their strong start to the season with a 3-0 victory over Prison, winning 25-17, 25-23 and 25-18.
The most competitive match of the day saw Waa Banjul defeat Olympafric/SK 3-2 in a five-set contest, following a closely fought encounter in which both teams shared the opening sets before Waa Banjul secured victory in the निर्णcing set.
Police also registered a straight-sets win, beating Hamza 3-0 with scores of 25-9, 25-18 and 25-7.
In the male category, Brikama defeated Prison 3-0, recording set scores of 25-21, 25-15 and 25-19.
Olympafric/SK secured a 3-0 win over Waa Banjul in the men’s division, taking the sets 25-18, 25-17 and 25-20.
Police completed another straight-sets victory with a 3-0 win against Hamza, posting scores of 25-13, 25-13 and 25-14.
The results confirm strong early performances by Brikama and Police, as teams continue to compete for positions in the opening stage of the 2026 National Volleyball League.
