Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>The Academy boys were sitting second-place from bottom on the country\u2019s elite league table prior to their clash with the ferry boys who sit mid-table.<\/p>\n

Samger required a victory against The Gambia Ports Authority to move away from the demotion zone in the first division league. The Academy boys notched in one goal in the match without The Gambia Ports Authority responding to clutch the vital three points.<\/p>\n

The victory moved Samger to 12th place on the country\u2019s premier league table with 8 points. The Gambia Ports Authority dropped to 8th place on the first division league table with 10 points after seven league matches.<\/p>\n

Waa Banjul drew 1-1 with Wallidan at the Real de Banjul Football Field to share the spoils. Meanwhile, Waa Banjul and Wallidan now grasped 16 points each after eight league outings.<\/p>\n
