The Speaker of the National Assembly, Mariam Jack-Denton has adjourned the session on the State of the Nation Address to October 3rd when the vice-president is expected to be available for the President.<\/p>\n

She said the presidency has communicated that, the vice president who\u2019s mandated to answer to matters affecting the President in the Assembly is currently out of the country on official duties.<\/p>\n

She said considering the provisions of the Constitution on the matter at hand, coupled with the expressed intention of the motion of the Assembly which was duly passed, she has adjourned the debate until when the vice president returns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
