Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>A judge has granted a request allowing state prosecutors to withdraw charges against a 30-year-old woman accused of obtaining over D11 million under false pretences.<\/p>\n

Binta Dibba was expected to take her plea when the case came up yesterday but the prosecutor, Saikou Lamin Jobarteh asked that the charges against her be dropped. The woman from Kotu was arraigned three weeks ago before Justice Bakre on nine charges of obtaining money by false pretences from British national, Jonathan Bennett.<\/p>\n
