Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>He will contest for New Jeshwang Constituency as an Independent Candidate. He is the Development Officer for The Gambia Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (GADHOH).<\/p>\n

He said he wishes to vie for the elections because he wishes to represent the best interests of his constituency, the disability community and to continue to strengthen the democracy and good governance of The Gambia.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will take positions and decisions that ensure that public policy, laws and institutions serve all Gambians regardless of their disability or any other status. I will ensure that public institutions are transparent, accountable and responsive to the needs of all citizens regardless of their status,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will demand inclusive and participatory approaches in governance and development at all levels of society.\u201d Mr. Ceesay also said.<\/p>\n

He has a seven point agenda which emphasised on addressing the needs of his constituency, ensuring full implementation of the Disability Bill and all inclusive and accessibility to quality health care system.<\/p>\n
