Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>According to a witness, a mahogany tree fell on a classroom and destroyed the only Madarasa school in the village. However, no casualty was reported. The residents of the village revealed to this medium that their hope of sustainable water supply is now scattered, leading to a water shortage.<\/p>\n

The community called on the government and other philanthropists to come to their aid and support rebuilding the school and access to a clean and affordable water supply. Kanmamudu is an off-the-road village within the Foni Jarrol settlement in close proximity to the Senegalese border, Casamance.<\/p>\n
