Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>The Gambian team to the African athletics championship has left town for Mauritius, the host of this year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n

The team consists of 15 athletes including track queen Gina Bass and top male sprinters Ebrima Camara, Senghan Jobe, Alieu Joof and Adama Jammeh.<\/p>\n

The elite athletes have been on tour of France, fine-tuning their skills ahead of the continental show piece.<\/p>\n

The 2022 African Senior Athletics Championship, originally slated for Stade Olympique d\u2019Oran in Algeria, will hold between June 8 and12 at the brand-new C\u00f4te d\u2019Or National Sports Complex in Mauritius, which is considered one of the best technical stadiums in Africa.<\/p>\n
