Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>The Serrekunda West Sports Development Organisation (SWESDO) has recently concluded its qualifying round tournament of 32 teams. Out of these teams only four teams made it through to the Nawettan proper. Two of the four relegated sides made it back to the nawettan proper.<\/p>\n The four teams are Real de Jeshwang, Badala FC, Celtic FC and Effa Lions respectively. Last year\u2019s relegated side, Real de Jeshwang FC, made it back to the Serrekunda West nawettan proper after defeating Cosmos 1-0 during playoff knockout game played at the SK West mini-stadium.<\/p>\n The Jeshwang based team, Real, booked back their place into the nawettan proper after they were relegated in the last year\u2019s nawettan tournament. While Cosmos FC who won all their three qualifiers games, are now eliminated out of the tournament during the playoff encounter.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, Badala FC also beat Sankung Sillah 10-9 in a post-match penalty shootout following a goalless draw in regulation time. Badala FC, who came in this year\u2019s qualifying round, have won all their four knockout games to qualify, while last year\u2019s relegated side Sankung Sillah have been knocked out of the tournament during the playoff.<\/p>\n Celtic FC eliminated Stockholm FC after a 4-3 post match shootout following a goalless draw in regulation time. Both Celtic and Stockholm came in this year\u2019s qualifying round with the aim of making through to the nawettan proper but it was Celtic FC\u2019s wishes which was granted.<\/p>\n Celtic FC won all their four games in the qualifying round, while Stockholm won three of their four knockout games. Effa Lions FC has also booked back their place into the nawettan proper after defeating LK Old Hands 6-5 on penalty shootout after a goalless draw in normal time.<\/p>\n Effa Lions, who were relegated in the last nawettan edition tournament, now return back to their position in the SK West rainy season football jamboree.
