Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>Sheikhna Faal, the Press Secretary of The Gambia Action Party has proclaimed that the Gambia lost its sovereignty under the leadership of President Adama Barrow through a one-sided agreement signed with the Senegalese President, Macky Sall. He said an agreement that will only benefit Senegal.<\/p>\n He made this remark following the recent publication of reports in the local daily newspaper which stated that the Gambia has lost trade to Senegal, which he said was the cause of irresponsible by the government. Added that it is another timing bomb ready to explode.<\/p>\n Faal said Gambians are facing a lot of challenges from one sector to another, yet, the Gambia government is not providing any tangible strategy to address the plight of the Gambians. He said the country has lost its internal security to the Senegalese Forces under Barrow\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n He added that the most stressful part of it, is that even the country\u2019s National documents that should be confidential are in the hands of Senegalese and other foreigners on the rise which is a security threat if not handled properly and that most of the food consumed in the country are imported from Senegal and the government empowered most of the Senegalese entrepreneurs to the detriment of Gambian businessmen and women.<\/p>\n \u201cThey have admitted to losing trade to Senegal due to the ports and it\u2019s going to get worst because Barrow is married to Macky Sall and the only way is to get him out of office as soon as possible.
