Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>The Class 1994 of the Armitage Senior Secondary, Janjanbureh, Central River Region has recently donated 100 metal stools worth over D100,000 tool the school for the use of the school laboratories.<\/b><\/p>\n

Donating the stools, the secretary general of the Class 1994, Dawda Bayo expressed their happiness and joy in donating to their alma mater.<\/p>\n

The Secretary general informed the school authorities that the 1994 batch feels that the government alone cannot solve the entire problems of the Armitage boarding school but the donation from the ex-students either in cash or kind will complement the efforts of the government.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, the chairman of the Class 1994 batch, Mr. Momodou Lamin Camara who is also the CEO of Marshal Security Company that led the four-man delegation to the school thanked the principal and school authority of Armitage Senior Secondary School, board, and staff of the school for the warm reception accorded the delegation.<\/p>\n

In an extension, he applauded others who had helped to transport the items to the school and others who had presented the trucks and fuelled them.<\/p>\n

He, therefore, expressed their satisfaction with the student debaters and their performance while he urged the students to be law-abiding, to take their studies seriously, and as well be respectful and not to be going out of the school without the permission of the school authorities.<\/p>\n

Mr Camara disclosed this is the first donation made to the school by the Class 1994 of the school but will certainly not be the last.<\/p>\n
