Human rights defenders are keeping quiet but the media is alert to its responsibilities. The Attorney General has been reminded that testimonies having a bearing on the court case dealing with the NIA Nine are taking place at the TRRC.<\/p>\n

The evidence coming out of the TRRC must have bearing on the evidence before the courts. The TRRC is designed for truth and reconciliation. The courts are designed to determine innocence or guilt beyond reasonable doubt. The authorities must not gloss over such matters if we want justice done and be seen to be done.
