Hands on Academy Day Care Nursery and Lower Basic School was celebrating<\/strong> achievements registered in its first National Assessment Test [NAT] examination for its grade three pupils at the school groundsin Sukuta. The main objective of the NAT is to enhance the standards of learning in schools. She said her purpose is to bring quality education to the door step of the less privileged. She said prior to the establishment of the school in the area \u201cchildren were just loitering\u201d. Musa Jammeh, Brufut cluster monitor region 2, called the achievement \u201ca clear manifestation that the school is working very hard\u201d. \nThe School came out second in the Brufut cluster NAT exams, which comprises of 14 schools in Brufut cluster region.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe standard deviation is 64.17. We came out second,\u201d said Horija Touray-Dibba, the proprietress of the Academy.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy objective was to bring Sukuta up in terms of education. Sukuta has never achieved this second position in terms of education in the whole cluster. Getting second position is an achievement\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n
\nHe said the results will serve as an encouragement and motivation for those upcoming students.<\/p>\n
\nHabibou Nyassi, head teacher of the Academy, also spoke and laud the school for the results.<\/p>\n
