Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>The Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) has urged residents around border villages in Foni to be vigilant and report any suspected Explosive Ordnance Device (EOD) or UXOs they may find around their areas to the nearest police station or military camp.<\/b><\/p>\n

This message came on the heels of a response by its Explosive Ordnance Device (EOD) Team 4 Infantry Battalion in Kanilai to the incident of an Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) device around Kampanti village in Foni Kansala District in West Coast Region. The team was led to the site by the alkalo of Kampanti village.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe UXO was rendered safe by the EOD Team before it was collected for further examination and possible disposal by the GAF,\u201d GAF states in a media dispatch.<\/p>\n
