No investigation was launched into the matter. At the time we did not have the chance to explain. When it happens, that was the very day we received our dismissal, and since that day we are sitting at home without a salary.<\/p>\n<p>He said they made a statement at Jeshwang Camp but they were later referred to the headquarters at Mile II where they also met the director of prison services and his deputy but they were informed that their services were terminated with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p>Cpl. Ceesay, who has been working in prison for almost 10 years, also explained how the termination of his service is having a grave impact on his life as a family man.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that there is no verbal dismissal in the Prison Act, describing his termination as unlawful.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe went to the Ombudsman, they said they will call us but still no response from them,\u201d the unhappy Cpl.
