Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>Ismaila Touray, a young Gambian known for inspirational quotes recently authored his first book titled \u201cA Ray of Hope\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n

In an interview, the young author explained what motivated him to write the book.<\/p>\n

\u201cI grew up seeing the negative effects social media, drugs and loss of parents at a young age and how hard it is on my friends and many other young people in my surrounding. So, I took up the challenge to help people become better and face their challenges by passing on positive messages,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cA Ray of Hope\u201d is finding peace and strength on the path to recovery, he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this book, I document real life situations that everyone can draw from and be inspired. The storyline is that of an orphan and I believe so many orphans are silently hurting without people realising it. This result to many youths taking drugs because they think it is a remedy to their sadness but for what they do not know is, that path ends up destroying them,\u201d he further said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe book is filled with motivational quotationsto rejuvenate your faith, enliven your spirit and boost your confidence.Simply grab a copy and read through for some inspiration.\u201d He stated.<\/p>\n

Touray highlighted that he did the selfless work with over 250 online posts. He noted that since 2019, he has reached an audience of over 2000 people and believes that the best way to invest in young people is by changing their mindset thus becoming the best versions of themselves. \u201cThe best way to achieve this is by feeding them the right message,\u201d he also said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have had a lot of feedback from people thanking me for helping them through dark times. It makes me proud and motivated to keep on writing even on my worst days because everyone is silently facing challenges and I am not an exception. Moreover, what has stood out for me over the years is a lot of people asking how I got to the point where I am able to reach out and change lives through my messages. This led me to embark on a new journey of writing a book,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He assured that the book will help many in their personal struggles with the challenges of life.<\/p>\n
