Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>Benin coach Mathias Deguenon says his team must find a way of beating Group C leaders Gambia in their final TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations group match in Alexandria.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Cheetahs drew their opening two matches against Zambia and Tunisia while the Young Scorpions have confirmed top spot in the group following victories over Tunisia and Zambia.<\/p>\n

Benin gave away a 2-1 lead to draw against Zambia before a firing blank against Tunisia at the Haras El Hodoud Stadium.<\/p>\n

\u201cTomorrow will be our third match and we will play against the group leader,\u201d Mathias said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to qualify for the next round of the tournament. We will have to be ready from the start of the match.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince the start of the tournament, we have been looking for solutions to be more efficient in front of goal.\u201d<\/p>\n

The West Africans have struggled to dispatch their chances in the tournament but the coach wants to improve that.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything is about us as we have to find the strategies to beat this Gambian team,\u201d Mathias Deguenon told journalists.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to put the attack to good use.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goalkeeper Dava David Agossa who plays in Djibouti for Gendarmerie says the team is ready for the test against Gambia.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are ready and focused on the match tomorrow,\u201d Agossa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want the 3 points tomorrow. We are here to serve our people and country, it is a source of pride.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are going to put into practice the instructions of the coach to qualify for the quarter-finals.\u201d<\/p>\n
