Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>Saihou Mballow, Presidential Adviser on political matters and a staunch supporter of the National People\u2019s Party (NPP) said his party will announce its candidates for the upcoming Local Government Elections before next week Friday.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cNPP supporters already know what is happening, but we will do the selection this coming week. We will announce it before next Friday (Friday of next week). We will come out to the Gambians and tell them who our candidates are. We are not afraid; we were just busy with other issues. How can the government be afraid? We won overwhelmingly during the presidential elections. Why should we be afraid of the local councils?\u201d he told King Fm Radio on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The National People\u2019s Party (NPP) are yet to reveal their candidates for the upcoming Local Government Elections.<\/p>\n
