Heck, Mayor Besounda did (reflecting on town hall). And this brings me to the president\u2019s interview with Mr. Jones.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I was hoping to see a clarification from his handlers or the President himself regarding his utterance on matters of the audit reports.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, the audit report is an opinion, but an unqualified opinion that fairly represents the financial statements, in all material respects, the financial position, results of operations, and cash flows of the entity in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles.<\/p>\n<p>So, why is the president downplaying such a report to the extent that he\u2019s questioning the motives and competence of able public servants? Well, it\u2019s anyone\u2019s guess. Still, with respect, I think the president\u2019s advisors did a poor job or he was unable to grasp the concept of the audit when explained to him.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s disheartening is the chief executive undercutting the public employees with an appearance of impropriety in them\u2014his utterance of bias or mistake without proof.
