Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>Hon Sulayman Saho, a National Assembly Member for Central Badibou Constituency and a politician has called into order the Presidential adviser for political affairs, Saihou Mballow, over sending troops to Niger.<\/b><\/p>\n

Hon Saho regarded the statement of Mballow as premature and unethical.<\/p>\n

In an interview with him for his reaction to the issue he said the presidential adviser telling the President to deploy Gambian soldiers to Niger at this moment is not a good idea, saying it is suicidal and against territorial integrity because military intervention will further divide the continent more.<\/p>\n

The lawmaker further stated that Africans need dialogue rather than fight, good governance, and term limits in Africa if not Coup will be unavoidable.<\/p>\n

\u201cI warn Mr. Mballow to widen up his lenses on global issues the French hegemony is getting attacked by conscious revolutionaries. Mballow knows nothing about diplomacy or military interventions and its repercussions,\u201d he lamented.<\/p>\n

However, he fired that the President should deploy Mballow to his farm rather than him advising a whole President on military relations.<\/p>\n

He said he has failed to understand that the Liberia civil war and military coup are different two things \u201cAs a presidential adviser you should tell President Barrow to fight against institutional corruption and political disunity than making such a statement. Niger is a sovereign State sending troops there is tantamount to suicide.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, he said, if he wants to advise let him advise the President on how to improve the livelihood of the farmers who entirely depend on farming in the rainy season while urging his fellow parliamentarians to advise the President as the constitution dictates.<\/p>\n
