Africa-Press – Gambia. <\/strong><\/span>Serrekunda Central Sports Development Association (SCSDA) over the weekend started its 2023 nawettan season.<\/b><\/p>\n

The zone\u2019s Mini Stadium is currently under construction so the committee will host its nawetan matches at Bundung and Serrekunda Lower Basic Schools.<\/p>\n

Newly registered team, Late Makaka FC opened their Serrekunda Central account with a big bang after defeating Ajax Amsterdam FA, last year\u2019s league champions 4-0 in the opening game of the nawetan competition played at the Bundung Lower Basic School ground on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The opening match, which was witnessed by many spectators saw a display of talents and skills from both teams.<\/p>\n

The Sukuta-based team, Ajax Amsterdam started their title defense with a huge loss in their opening game, while the Bakoteh-based team, Late Makaka FC started their maiden Serrekunda Central nawetan with a smile after thumping the defending champions.<\/p>\n

At the time of going to press, two games were being played at Bundung Lower Basic School Football Ground.<\/p>\n
